Emily: Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Emily, Founder and CEO of MiBEST, brings over 20 years of invaluable experience in case management, investigations, social work, and social services. Her extensive background includes working with vulnerable populations, structured documentation, and compliance standards, alongside over a decade in financial management. Emily's expertise is the backbone of our guardianship services, representative payee oversight, court documentation support, and investigative services. She advocates for ethical decision-making and protecting individuals who need structured support.
Mike: Managing Member & Chief Operations Officer (COO)
As COO of MiBEST, Mike brings 24 years of distinguished military service, including leadership in communications, infantry operations, and tactical experience during overseas deployments. His proven discipline, structure, and mission-focused execution are critical to MiBEST’s operational standards. Mike's background strengthens our security assessments, risk awareness strategies, structured operations, and ensures calm, professional handling of high-pressure situations. Integrity, accountability, and responsibility define his leadership.
More than professionals: a blended family of 12
Emily and Mike are not just business partners; they are happily married and lead a blended family of 10 children, ranging from 8 to 30 years old, including three adopted children. This lived experience provides them with a deep, personal understanding of family court systems, blended family dynamics, adoption processes, and the emotional weight families carry during legal matters. Their personal navigation of these complex systems gives MiBEST a unique blend of procedural knowledge and profound empathy for every client.
